These nativity scene figures are painted in a simple, stylistic technique on decorative stones. In addition to the Holy Family, a donkey and two lambs are included with this nativity set.

Mary's outer robe is painted with royal blue acrylic paint and her inner garment is raw sienna. Her headscarf is a tinted buttermilk. Prior to painting, wood filler was applied to the base of the rock for added stability.

Joseph's outer robe is painted with burnt sienna acrylic paint and his inner garment is ocean blue. His headscarf is a tinted buttermilk highlighted with burnt umber. Prior to painting, wood filler was applied to the base of the rock for added stability.

Baby Jesus swaddling clothes are tinted buttermilk. The manger is painted burnt umber with raw sienna and gold straw.

The donkey is painted brown, buttermilk and black. The lambs are painted with buttermilk, gray and black.

All six pieces are sealed with a protective finish for lasting durability.
