Mary's robe is painted with "Sweetheart Rose" acrylic paint; her headscarf is painted with "Sky Blue" acrylic paint.

Joseph's robe is painted with "Ocean Blue" acrylic paint; his headscarf is painted with "Latte" acrylic paint. The headband is left unpainted allowing the rock's natural color to peek through.

Baby Jesus swaddling clothes are the rock's natural color highlighted with gray acrylic paint. The manger is painted "Burnt Umber" and "Yellow Ochre" acrylics.

All three pieces are sealed with a protective finish for lasting durability.
